Scotty was purchased in July 2005 as a future stud prospect for Salisbury Riding Ponies.

Since the loss of our beautiful stallion Weston Mirage, I had been keeping my eyes open for a colt that would mature 14hh and over with movement, temperament and proven bloodlines.

When I first spotted "Scotty" as a foal on the Sanlirra website I was immediately intrigued. He represented proven saddle bloodlines. His sire "Vale Park Spotlight" is the sire of numerous Royal Champions just to name a select few.......................

Vale Park Spotlight's sire is Weston Mascot, a full brother to Weston Model the dam of our beloved Weston Mirage (dec).

"Scotty's" dam, Urubula Bewitched represents some of the most amazing English Riding Ponies here in Australia. Her sire, Rosslayne Blue Peter, is found in the maternal bloodlines of Urubula Promise and subsequently Willowcroft Regal Emblem. Her dam, the imported Lennel Mittens is by Lennel Strolling Minstrel, sire of Bolagamy Vagabond, Costessy Tarantella (imp), Redmayne Primular (IMP) and Rosslyn Singalong.
